Pre-built AMI for Hyper-V

Hosting Controller Web Control Panel is already installed and configured in this AMI running with Operating System 2022 Standard Edition. You can use this image in the Hyper-V to create the virtual machine. Built-in administrator one time use password: hc@123456789AaBb. We highly recommend resetting the administrator user password after the first-time login in the machine.

IIS Web Server is installed on the machine to host the Hosting Controller Portal website. MSSQL 2022 Express (free) edition is used as a backend database with a hosting controller Portal. SQL management tool is also installed on the instance.

Internally HC Panel interface can be accessed using the URL https://localhost:8797. Initially, the Control Panel will ask to set the Control Panel admin account name and Password (just once). After inserting the username and password you will be able to log in to the HC Portal Admin interface.

Optional: You can set your desired web secure URL by opening the IIS Web server in Start > Run > inetmgr > IIS Manager > Hosting Controller Portal >>>> bind any desired URL in the host header.

Use the MSSQL Management tool to connect the SQL database engine using hostname localhost and Windows Authentication to access the HC database or to modify DB account credentials.
