How it Works?

All that you need is to install HC on exchange server 2007 or 2010 machine containing the role of HUB Transport Server and HC manages the rest itself. It monitors and handles all the Exchange 2007 or 2010 roles for you in an efficient and organized manner. There isn't any long list of steps to install HC with Exchange 2007 or 2010, all you need to do is:

  • Install HC on your Database Server.
  • Install Exchange Server 2007 or 2010 either on the same or another machine. HC facilitates you to install HC and MS Exchange on a single server as well as on multiple servers in a distributed environment.
  • After login as Host Admin, in “Global Settings” select Exchange 2007 or 2010 as Mail Server and add the server Hub Transport Server (where Exchange 2007 or 2010 is installed) as a mail server to HC cluster.

During this process all Mailbox Servers and Client Access Servers (CASs) are shown to you. Here you just have to select one CAS Server for Outlook Web Access. That is it!

As your business grows, you may add new CAS, MBX or Hub Transport servers in your Hosted Exchange environment.
