HC Skype for Business is designed to communicate over Remote PowerShell. The underlying architecture makes certain that the actual Skype for Business Front-End servers are free from unwarranted installations and as isolated as possible. Control Server is the server with the Primary installer and constitutes the backbone of HC10. It's responsible for provisioning, database, system and task scheduler operations.

Complete the configurations by logging on as Admin. Specify a hypothetical server in the panel and designate it a Friendly Name. Next specify the IP and Admin credentials for the actual Skype for Business Front-End server.

Connect via Remote PowerShell

The Control Server connects to the actual Skype for Business Front-End servers via Remote PowerShell for the purpose of provisioning, without any need of an HC installation on the Skype for Business Front-End server itself. Hit the "Check Connectivity" button to verify the connection and start provisioning Skype for Business users, SIP domains and much more through HC10. It's as simple as that!
