Setting general access permissions |
You can set a variety of access permissions that apply to your site as a whole. This can range from only allowing browsers to read the site right through to allowing browsers to view your directory structure. The following permissions are available (you can have multiple types of permissions available at one time):
Read - Sites with read access will be displayed to browsers.
Write - Sites with write access can be modified by browsers.
Execute - Sites with execute access will allow applications to run.
Script - Sites with script access will run scripts successfully - refer to your hosting administrator if you have enabled scripting but your scripts do not seem to work.
Directory Browsing - Sites with directory browsing access will display the sites directory structure to browsers.
FrontPage Web - FrontPage extensions will be installed. Sites with Front Page web access can use all Front Page features.
To set general access permissions:
Click on the List Web Sites link in the Domain Manager menu.
Click on the button.
