Hosting Controller enables you install a fully-featured online forum with a few simple clicks. The forum includes administration features, smilies, and saves all information in a database backend.

To install a forum:

1. Click on the List Forums link in the Forums Manager menu.

2. Click on the button.

3. Enter the title of the forum in the Forum Title field.

4. Enter the location of the forum, the forum banner image, and the home page of the site the forum is on in the Forum Address Name, Forum Title Banner Image, and Home URL fields. All of these locations must be absolute addresses, for example http://yourdomain.com/forum.

5. Fill in the fields in the Color Preferences area. Most fields are self-explanatory, and you can always come back and edit these preferences at any time - refer Editing a forum for more information.

6. pick a color using the color picker, click on the button next the required field and click on one of the available colors.

7. Click on the button when you are ready install the forum.

8. Your administrator login and password is now displayed, along with a link the new forum. It is a good idea click on the link immediately and change your administrator password.
