For small text files it can be easier to create them online, rather than on your home computer and uploading the file. Once you have created the file you will probably need to edit the file - refer to Editing a file for more information.

To create a text file:

1. Navigate to the folder in which you want to create a text file.

2. Click on the button.

3. Enter the name of the text file in the prompt and click on the button. The text file has now been created.
