Adding and changing your credit card information |
Hosting Controller enables you to pay for your web hosting via a secure online payment system, if your hosting administrator has an online billing account. All you need to do is enter your personal and credit card details, and how much you will pay, and Hosting Controller will take care of the rest.
Hosting Controller also enables you to enter a minimum charge amount. This is used to avoid paying significant transaction fees through payment gateways for small amounts of money. You can set the minimum amount of money you will pay no matter what the invoice size, the rest going as credit against your account.
Example: You set your minimum charge amount to $10, and your next payment is for $2. Your account is now in credit for $8, and your credit card again will not be charged until your credit has been fully used.
Note: You need to use the Payments function to actually make a payment - refer to Payments for more information. Alternatively, you can enable Automatic Billing and your credit card will be charged automatically whenever an invoice is due. Refer to Auto Billing for more information.
