Hosting Controller can generate a list of all of the services available on your server. After the list has been generated you can edit the startup properties and/or status of the service - refer to Setting the startup properties of a service and Changing the status of a service for more information.
There are a number of Hosting Controller-specific services that you need to be aware of:
HostingController Service- The essential service for remote setup; if you are hosting mail and/or domain names, this service MUST be running. This is also called HC DCOM service.
HC Payments Service - Handles automatic payments and invoicing.
HCSMTP Service - Handles all sent email, including emailed invoices.
To list your server services:
Click on the List Services link in the Services Manager menu.
A color-coded list of services is now displayed.
