If Serv-U FTP Server is enabled, Hosting Controller creates FTP in Serv-U, otherwise FTP access is created in MS FTP.

To configure Serv-U:

1. Login to Hosting Controller as Host Administrator, click on Preferences, click Serv-U Settings.

2. In Serv-U Settings page, checkthe Serv-U Enabled check box.

3. Enter the path for the Serv-U INI file in Serv-U INI File Path box.

• Serv-U.ini if Serv-U version is 2.5x.
  e.g. D:\Program Files\FTPServers\Serv-U\Serv-U.ini

• ServUDaemon.ini if Serv-U version is 3.x or 4.x.
  e.g. D:\Program Files\FTPServers\Serv-U\ServUDaemon.ini

4. Select the domain under which Serv-U Global users and IPless FTP users will be created. Select this domain in Default Domain select box. Click .
   Note: If Default Domain select box appears empty, use HC Settings utility to set the default domain.
