Adding new DNS Record

To add a new DNS record:

• Click Server Manager menu under General section.

• Click on Add/Edit DNS page.

• Click the Add New DNS Record Link, in Custom Settings.

• Provide the following information as required and click the Add Record link.

Record Type:

 Select the record type from the drop down menu. The record type can be of four types:

• A – Host Record

• CNAME – Name Alias Record

• MX – Mail Exchange Record

• TXT – Text Data Record

Record Name:

This is the name of the record to be added.

Record Data:

This is the actual data of the record to be added.

MX Preference:

This is the MX preference, set whatever is preferred for the record i.e. 10 or 15. This will appear only in case Record Type is MX.
