EDITING A WINDOWS WEB SERVER

 

To edit a Windows Web server update information on the edit web server page.

The options you see totally depends on the settings you have performed in the Global Settings section.

The edit server information consists of following sections:

 

General Settings:

This includes the information related to third part integrations and other website resources. If they are enabled or disabled their paths if required. The status of these  resources can be changed (enabled / disabled) form the Global Settings section. The only information you can edit here it the Web Root Path if required. Enter the new Web Root Path or use Browse button.

 

Web Server Settings:

This section allows updating the following information like;

IP Less Domain IP

IP Less FTP Site

SSL Enabled Sites

 

Scripting Settings:

This section shows the paths set for the enabled scripting languages. All these path can be updated from here if required. Here you can also update the Cold Fusion MX MX is short for exchange record, which is an entry in a domain name database which identifies the mail server responsible for e-mails for that domain name. Each domain can have multiple mail routes, each assigned a priority number. The mail route with the lowest number identifies the server responsible for the domain. Other mail servers listed can be used as backups. password as well.

 

To update password tick the update password check box, and provide the new password in password fields and confirm password field.

 

Note:

These paths are set at the time of Web Server insertion in the cluster.

 

Stats Server Settings:

This shows the enabled stats server. Here you can only update the information related to the enabled stats server like time interval and so on. But the stats server can only be changed from the Global Settings for Web Server section. But in that case you will have to use the same stats server for all the web servers in the cluster.

 

ASPFusion Settings:

Under this section you can update the path for ASPFusion components.

 

 

Note:

Some options and button may not be available in your panel or may be changed depending on the settings you have selected. The possibility of a next button or update server button is one of them and depends on the options you have set.
