Input parameters are of two types:
 

1. Required Parameters:
   
   Required parameters are mandatory for all the functions. An operation cannot be completed successfully without these parameters. These parameters are further categorized into two types:
    

• HostUserName, HostPassword:
  These two parameters are used for the authentication purpose and are mandatory.

• Others:
  These are the other required parameters which vary from function to function.
   

2. Optional Parameters
   
   Optional parameters are used for advanced configuration. If specified, the process will acquire your given configuration. Otherwise it will pick up the panel’s default configuration. Optional parameters should be in the form of XML packet. For your ease, this packet is formulated in a generic name/value pair format so that it can be easily extended accordingly.
