Performing log rotation settings

To configure scheduler settings:

• Click the My Server menu under System section.

• Click the Log Rotation Settings submenu under the Configure Services section.

• Tick the Enable Log Rotation check box.

• Perform any of the following settings as required:

Log rotation Condition:

The panel performs log rotation on the basis of any of the following condition:

• Size: Select the Size option, if you wish to rotate logs when log file reaches a specific size limit.

• Days: Select Days option, if you wish to rotate logs after a specific number of days.

• File Count: Select File Count option, if you wish to rotate log leaving some number of latest log files.

Rotate Log when Log size reaches:

Here enter the log size (in Mega Bytes), when reached, the panel performs the log rotation.

Action To perform:

Select the option from the drop down menu which the panel should perform for the log files on reaching the above log size. It can be:

• Zip Only: This option zips log files and places the zip archive in /logs folder. The actual log files are deleted.

• Zip and Email: This option zips log files and emails to website owner on the email address stored in personal profile. The actual log files are deleted.

• Delete: This option simply removes log files.
