To set the Tax Feature:
Click the Billing System menu
Click the Configure Billing submenu under the Advanced Options
Tick the enable billing check box, and click the Next button
Click the Next button on Activate Gateways page
Under the General Setting, set the following Tax Feature options as required:
Tax Name:
This is the tax name you want to apply for the billing.
Tax Rate:
Enter the rate for the tax here.
Apply tax only when
Select the option most suited from the following:
Customer's country is same as yours
Customer's state is same as yours
Customer is anywhere
Note:
It is assumed that you are setting the tax feature after you have enabled the billing and configured the payment gateways. If you have not please refer to configure billing page.
