EDITING A SERVER IN YOUR CLUSTER

You can any time edit a server in your cluster. Editing a server is mostly be required in case you want to update/change the path of some software.

 

To edit a server:

 

 

 

Editing a Windows Web server.

Editing a Windows Database server.

Editing a Windows Mail Server.

Editing a Windows DNS server.

 

Editing a Linux Web server.

Editing a Linux Database server.

Editing a Linux Mail Server.

Editing a Linux DNS server.

 

 

Note:

You can not edit the role of a server if it has consumed some resources for that role.

For example, if you have selected the role as a web server and you have created websites on that server. Then you can not edit the role for that server as not a webserver. However you can include another server role Every server can have one or more role(s) in the cluster. This role(s) needs to be set every time a new server is added to the cluster. Following are the four available roles for a server, in the cluster. Web Server, DNS Server, Mail Server & Database Server. for a server.
