ADDING A DATABASE SERVER

Provide the following settings as required for the database server:

SQL Server Settings

Database Server Type:

Shows the database server type selected in the Global Settings.

SQL Server Name:

Give the name of the SQL server. Logically it’s got to be the name of the server which you are adding as a database server.

SQL Server IP Address:

It is the IP address of the SQL server name you have provided above.

SQL Server Administrator Name:

Provide here the SA account login name.

SQL Server Administrator Password:

Provide here the password of SA login.

MySQL Settings

Database Server Type:

It displays the database server type.

MySQL Install Path:

Here correctly provide the MySQL install path.

MySQL IP Address:

It is the IP address of the MySQL server name you have provided above.

MySQL Port:

Enter the port on which mySQL server is running. The default port is 3306.

MySQL Administrator Name:

Provide here the root account login name.

MySQL Administrator Password:

Provide here the password of root login.
