Adding an OS Template
To add an OS template:
Log on to HC panel.
From
the left menu click System, and
then My Server.
My Server page is displayed.
Click
OS Templates under Virtualization
Server Settings menu.
The OS Templates page is displayed.
Click
Add OS Template.
The Add OS page is displayed.
Specify the following information:
Virtualization Server: Select server for virtualization from the drop-down list box.
Template Name: Type name of the template for the OS.
Base OS Type: Select type of Base OS from the drop-down list box.
It is the type of Operating System installed on the hard disk that is being selected as OS template. |
Boot Loader Type: Click the required loader type for boot.
Kernel Path: Enter path for Kernel.
Initrd Path: Enter path for Initrd.
Virtual Hard Disk Path: Enter path for the Virtual Hard Disk.
This is the path for Host's Virtual Hard Disk, where templates are created. |
Root Device: Type name of the root device.
Swap Device: Type name of the swap device.
Click
Add OS Template.
An OS Template is added.
Adding an OS Template
